Supporting and Developing Communities

Our work with Melqosh Mission International

– 30/11/2018 – We recently supported Melqosh Mission International in raising over £2000 in support of the Sierra Leonean war amputees during ‘Giving Tuesday’ on 27th November 2018.

Why we need your support and how you can get involved?

If you can make a difference to even just one life, you’ve added value to yours.

So, as I travel this journey, I am inviting you to join me in making a difference in the lives of others. Every little helps and by pooling our resources together we are doing our bit. In doing so, the challenges of the world become a bit smaller and the recipients can hope a bit more. Learn more about our charity partner below.

Melqosh Mission International is a Non-Profit Organization birthed to educate, empower and elongate the lives of poverty-stricken and marginalized victims of the Blood Diamonds fuelled war; amputees whose limbs were forcibly and wickedly amputated by the rebels in the course of one of Africa’s bloodiest civil wars in Sierra Leone, (including their dependents). 27,000 individuals were victims of rebel amputations.

Melqosh Mission International was founded by Faith Okrafo-Smart on the 6th April 2008 and the charity’s projects include:
– Educational Sponsorship Programme: Educating hundreds of children across Sierra Leone
– Medical Mission: Providing medical care for hundreds of children across Sierra Leone.
